New Year - new project for Beach Buddies

by isleofman.com 2nd January 2015
Beach Buddies are starting the new year with a new project.
Volunteers are being sought to help with the reconstruction of a footpath at Niarbyl which was badly damaged by storms last winter.
Buddies Founder Bill Dale says the work is a little different to their normal activity but still important as the damage to the path has held back the opening of their visitor centre at Niarbyl.
Bill says it's a great opportunity for new volunteers to get involved - particularly if they have relevant skills and can offer advice in the project - but anyone who just wants to add some much needed man or woman power is also welcome!
If you would like to get involved you should meet at the thatched cottages at Niarbyl at 10am tomorrow (Sat 3rd)
Hot drinks and snacks will be provided for everyone afterwards, together with vouchers sponsored by McDonalds.
