Scallop fishing options explored

A consultation on how to best manage the Island's queenie fishing is ongoing.

It asks whether there is support in principle for restricting vessels' entry through the introduction of a cap on fishing for queenies and if so, what form this should take.

Options include only allowing existing licence-holders to fish, or restricting the area to those with a suitable track record over three seasons.
