Police tackle burglaries

Police are reminding people to make sure their homes are locked up securely, after a spate of break-ins.
Over the weekend, officers were called to two attempted burglaries in two days – fortunately, both times those responsible fled empty-handed.
Detective Inspector Dave Dobbie says police are stepping up their efforts to find those responsible.
But he says there are things people can do to make them less likely to be targeted:Clip 1
