Isle of Man votes on women bishops

by isleofman.com 13th January 2015
The Island’s church votes tonight on whether to allow women bishops.

The UK’s General Synod approved the consecration of women bishops in July, and formally ratified the decision in November.

But under Manx law, the diocese of Sodor and Mann needs to hold its own vote here.

The Manx synod meets tonight (Tuesday) to discuss the issue.
