Stabbing accused to stand trial

An 18-year-old will stand trial later this year following a stabbing in Farmhill in Douglas.
Jack Marshal Bridson, of Anagh Coar, has been committed to a court of General Gaol.
He is charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding, with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, after an incident in the early hours of November the first in Hilltop Rise.
Seventeen-year-old Owen Plaskett was stabbed seven times.
Mr Bridson has yet to enter a plea.
