Douglas sites go on the market

by isleofman.com 14th January 2015

The Department of Infrastructure is marketing two areas of Douglas in the hope it’ll attract a potential developer.

The department says it’s looking for expressions of interest for the former bus station on Lord Street and land behind the Steam Packet office on Parade Street.

Both are currently car parks and are being marketed by estate agent Black Grace Cowley.

The department says any proposal would need planning approval, but it would like to see a mixed commercial use, including leisure facilities, a hotel, shops and offices.
