Role of Douglas debated at public meeting

Is Douglas being held back or helped by national policy?
The matter was discussed at a public meeting last night at South Douglas Old Friends Club in the capital.
Featuring three Douglas MHKs, a Douglas councillor and two representatives of Douglas-based businesses, a panel faced questions from the public on topics such as the closure of Regent Street Post Office, regeneration of Strand Street and the future of the Castle Mona Hotel.
