Post Office protest planned for Saturday

by isleofman.com 15th January 2015
People opposed to the closure of the main Post Office in Ramsey have organised a protest march.

It's due to take place on Saturday, meeting at Ramsey Town Hall before heading along West Street and Parliament Street and assembling outside the Post Office at the old courthouse.

Anyone who wants to take part is asked to meet at the town hall at midday, for a 12.15pm start.

Organisers are anticipating around 200 people.

Police are asking people taking part to park their cars at the commissioners' car parks on Station Road, Albert Road or in spaces on East Quay or West Quay.
