Pause for thought by cancer charities

A Manx cancer charity says the decision by NHS England to limit funding for pioneering drug treatments could impact fundraising on the Island.
The Cancer Drugs Fund offers patients in England access to treatments not routinely available.
But its budget is being slashed, leaving a question mark over the future development of a number of new drugs.
Although the Island doesn't have its own Cancer Drugs Fund, local charities donate large sums annually to UK drugs research.
Some are asking if that is now sensible.
