Service to celebrate young lives cut short

by isleofman.com 16th January 2015
Family and friends of Island brothers Jacques and Torin Lakeman will gather in Port St Mary on Friday night for a service to celebrate their lives.
The brothers, aged 20 and 19, died together in early December, on a weekend trip to Greater Manchester.
Their funeral in Harrogate was a private affair, but all are welcome to tonight's service at the Living Hope Community Church in their home village.
It's an opportunity for the wider community to mourn the loss of two young men - and to celebrate their short but full lives.
Their father Ray Lakeman says tonight's service aims to reflect his sons' diverse talents and interests: (play audio)
The service at Living Hope Community Church, Port St Mary starts at 7pm and is open to all.
Donations to a collection will be split between the local Scripture Union and the Parkinson's Disease Society. Clip 1
