Become a friend of The Children’s Centre

by isleofman.com 16th January 2015

If you want to support The Children’s Centre you can become a ‘friend’ of the charity from just ?1 a month. Choose from ?1, ?3 and ?5 donations per month – or as much as you like – and help fund vital projects and services, many of which rely on public donations. For just ?5 or more, you’ll be eligible to take part in the charity’s monthly draw and be in with a chance of winning ?100, ?50 or ?25 every month!

Your regular donation will support many varied projects and services which help families and children across the Island. For example, at the charity’s Child Contact Centre your monthly donation could enable a grandparent to spend quality time with a child or young person before an adoption takes place. Your support would help the Out2Play scheme continue to deliver free outdoor play sessions to over 4,000 primary school age children each year. Your regular funding could also allow the Mobex project to purchase adventure equipment, such as ropes and wetsuits, which are used to help children and young people on the periphery of society to learn important life skills and build self-confidence.

Susie Cox, Community Fundraiser at The Children’s Centre, said:

“Friends Membership is a great way to support our work, and every penny of your monthly donation will go directly towards our charitable projects and services. You’ll receive information throughout the year about The Children’s Centre and any events that might interest you. To become a Friend, simply fill in the direct debit form available on our website – for as little as ?5 a month, you could win up to ?100!”
