Bereaved mum offers solace to others

by isleofman.com 19th January 2015
A grieving Island mum has managed to find some solace by offering other bereaved families a place to go after losing a baby.

Tori Smithies has been planning the Sleeping Angel Wood since 2013, a place where relatives can plant a tree in memory of their lost child.

Her son Charles was stillborn at full term 18 years ago and she subsequently miscarried twins.

She has now received a piece of land from the government to start planting her wood.
