Post Office resignation not electioneering, says MHK

by isleofman.com 20th January 2015
Ramsey MHK Leonard Singer says his decision to resign as vice-chair of the Post Office is nothing to do with next year’s elections.
At a public meeting in Ramsey last November, he explained he’d taken the post to fight the proposed closure of the town’s Crown Office from within – attracting jeers from the 500-strong audience.
But less than three months into the role, he formally resigned yesterday saying the other board members had effectively driven him out.
Mr Singer told Jason Roberts it’s nothing to do with the 2016 election because he hasn’t decided whether to stand yet:Clip 1
