Investigation into DHSC tender process taking place

The Department of Health and Social Care has opened a formal investigation into a conflict of interest which emerged during a tender process.
This morning in the House of Keys, Treasury Minister Eddie Teare faced questions about the process which led to St Christopher's Fellowship being awarded a number of contracts ahead of the Children's Centre.
During the process, it emerged one of those on the committee awarding the contracts was a director of a participating, although ultimately unsuccessful, charity.
Mr Teare revealed this morning the issue is now being looked into:Clip 1
