Concerns over animal welfare on Island

Animal welfare is a real problem in the Island.
So says the body which encounters cases of neglect, cruelty and distress.
Today (Thurs) was the final day for residents to submit evidence to a Tynwald select committee looking into the issue.
It follows a petition presented on Tynwald Day last July.
Margaret Mansfield from the Manx SPCA says an increase in welfare cases to the charity is a worrying trend.
