Pros and cons of user agreement topic for PAG

by isleofman.com 26th January 2015
The Island's user agreement with the Steam Packet Company will be the topic for debate at a public open meeting this evening (Monday).
The Manx government's current deal with the company goes on until 2020, with an option to extend until 2026.
At the same time, eight ferry operators have expressed an interest in running services to and from the Island.
Discussions now lie ahead with the infrastructure department on what is required in terms of passenger and freight services.
Dick Clague, maritime issues expert at TravelWatch, is the speaker at tonight's Positive Action Group meeting at 7.30pm at the Manx Legion Club in Douglas:Clip 1
