Murder trial opening delayed

by isleofman.com 26th January 2015

The opening of the trial of a Castletown man, charged with murder, has been delayed today (Monday).
Ian Anderson, 45, of Queen Street, denies the murder of 60-year-old Neil Roberts from Ballabeg in December 2013.
He also denies a charge of assault against Alison Anderson.
The trial of Mr Anderson is before Deemster Montgomerie at Douglas Courthouse.
Deemster Montgomerie adjourned proceedings until this afternoon.
It is likely a 12 member jury will then be sworn-in.
