No 20 limit for Kirk Michael

by isleofman.com 27th January 2015
The introduction of a 20 mph speed limit through Kirk Michael isn't being considered by the Department of Infrastructure.

Minister Phil Gawne told the House bringing in a stand alone limit through the village without rethinking the design of the main road would not reduce traffic speeds to the desired levels.

He was speaking in answer to a question from Michael MHK Alf Cannan.

However Mr Gawne said work was underway to see what could be done to make traffic flow safer through the village.Clip 1
