Ferry sailings cancelled

by isleofman.com 28th January 2015

This morning's ferry sailing to Heysham has been cancelled because of the severe storm that's blowing in from the Atlantic.

Gale force winds, sleet and hail will hit the Isle of Man today, with snow expected to settle on higher ground.

The Steam Packet Company says a final decision on whether the Ben my Chree will sail from Douglas tonight will be made by no later than 5pm. It's hoped services will be back to normal tomorrow.
