Councillor hits back at internet rumours

Douglas Council leader David Christian has hit back at suggestions the rates rise is being used to fund an increase in pay.
He was responding to comments on Manx Forums that criticise the local authority.
Yesterday, the council announced a rates rise of 1.26 per cent to 402 pence in the pound.
Mr Christian blasted the forums for printing 'misinformation'
