Keys questions from backbenchers

by isleofman.com 30th January 2015

The Post Office closures and recent spate of burglaries are on the agenda of next week's sitting of the House of Keys.

Onchan member David Quirk wants to know what role Policy and Reform Minister Chris Robertshaw plays in relation to the Post Office, while Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft is asking PO chairman Graham Cregeen when the share of Post Office profits paid to Treasury changed from 50 per cent to the fixed sum of ?2million per annum, and why.

Meanwhile, Onchan MHK Peter Karran wants to know what the reasons are for the increase in burglaries. The recent spate saw 39 homes broken into over a two week period.
