Bell: coming weeks will clarify Mount Murray future

Chief Minister Allan Bell says the future of the Mount Murray Hotel and Country Club should become clearer in the coming weeks.

The facility is due to close on Friday with the loss of around 30 jobs after an insurance settlement wasn’t enough to pay for repairs after a fire in 2013.

Mr Bell says the complex is a vital part of the Island’s tourism infrastructure and could still be sold to another hotelier.

But he says there are a number of factors that need to be considered:Clip 1
