Police seek hit and run driver

by isleofman.com 14th February 2015

Police in Douglas want to trace a driver who hit a pedestrian and didn't stop.
A man suffered injuries to his leg and hand when he was struck while crossing Hillside Avenue at around 10pm last Wednesday (11 Feb).
Police say the driver would have known he had hit something and although the victim wasn't seriously hurt, the consequences could have been much worse.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information about the incident is asked to contact Lord Street police station or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
