Island photographer to be remembered

The family of a well known Island photographer say they have been ‘overwhelmed’ by tributes following his death.

Percy Morrison, who passed away 12 days ago at the age of 83, was involved in many aspects of the community but is best remembered for his photography work – particularly weddings - in a career that spanned five decades.

St Peter’s Church in Onchan will host his funeral at 3pm on Tuesday afternoon.

One of his sons, John, who took over family business Morrisons Photos in 2006, fondly remembers the story of his first official wedding job:
