Dental service 'not good enough'

by isleofman.com 25th February 2015
Dental services are not as good as the Island deserves or expects.

The health minister made the admission this week, telling the House of Keys the service was 'far from perfect' - but moving in the right direction.

Howard Quayle MHK said improved dental care and health was vital, and his department wanted to be more proactive and prevent problems developing.

He also said the salaried dental service was being revamped, and repeated all patients on the waiting list would eventually be allocated an NHS dentist.
