Town centre managers back TT food stall decision

by isleofman.com 25th February 2015
The Douglas Development Partnership says it fully supports the Department of Economic Development's decision not to have food stalls on Douglas prom at TT.

Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly told the House of Keys the stalls could have an impact on local businesses, are expensive to clean up after, and take up space that could be used by the fair.

It was in response to North Douglas MHK John Houghton's question asking whether pitches would be provided to traders.
