Marown meeting to discuss waste disposal

Marown ratepayers are being asked for their views on waste, recycling and kerbside collections in the parish.
Village commissioners are holding a public meeting at Marown School this evening (Tues).
Over the next year in Marown, commissioners expect to spend ?64,000 for the parish waste to be incinerated at the Energy from Waste Plant.


They say that will rise to ?117,000 by 2018.


Local authority chairman Alison Lynch says they want to hear what locals have to say before they make any decisions.
