Youths behaving anti-socially at Sea Terminal

by isleofman.com 20th January 2016
The Central Policing Team have confirmed that they met with Sea Terminal staff yesterday following repeated instances of youngsters behaving antisocially.

This followed a direct appeal to parents, via the Constabulary's Facebook page on the 18th January, as to whether they knew where their children were that night.

It is believed that the problem has come to the fore over the winter period with large groups of up to 30 youths congregating at the Sea Terminal where they have reportedly been disrespectful to both the services available and to other people using them.

Whilst the Police acknowledge that the bad behaviour is being caused by the minority they state that they are having to look at options such as restricting young people from the area at certain times and also stopping the free wifi service.

A witness to the behaviour commented: "Parents should pop down and see just how badly their children are behaving."
