Horse tram problem has been shifted says Chief Minister

Government left to 'pick up the pieces'

The Chief Minister stands by his comments that Douglas Borough Council has shifted the burden of the horse trams onto government.

Allan Bell spoke in the House of Keys this week (starting 25 Jan) after an emergency motion on the trams was brought forward by south Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft.

The corporation has rejected claims the decision to cease the traditional service was to make it someone else's problem.
