?9000 raised for Hospice Isle of Man

Pictured are Thomas Downey (8) and Connor Maginn (5) presenting a cheque on behalf of The Railway Inn for ?9,000 to Jackie Raleigh from Hospice Isle of Man.

?4,500 was raised at a mhelliah at the Railway Inn pub in Union Mills which was doubled by Marty Downey’s three companies, Island Drainage & Groundwork, Tooms Building Contractors and Caines Building Contractors.

They would like to thank all the suppliers and local companies who generously supported the event and to those who came on the night for their continuous support.

A final thank you to Sarah for all her hard work organising the event, everyone who helped on the night and especially to the four entertaining auctioneers on the night Boosh Kerruish, Michael Taggart, Andy McKeown and Marty Downey.
