DEFA chief meets Scottish counterpart

Ronan and Lochhead discuss fisheries strategies

The Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister has held what he's called successful talks with his Scottish counterpart.

Richard Ronan MHK visited Holyrood this week to discuss ongoing issues surrounding the fisheries industry with Scottish Rural Affairs chief Richard Lochhead MSP.

Discussions centred around how our respective fisheries strategies can be used to boost our economies.

But Mr Ronan says there's are contrasting factors in the two jurisdictions:
