Record numbers attend Sefton wedding fair

by isleofman.com 16th February 2016
With attendance up more than 15 per cent over last year The Sefton Hotel’s 2016 wedding fair held on Sunday January 31proved a record-breaking event.

Three exhibition spaces, including the spectacular Atrium Water Garden and adjoining Garden Room, were opened up to accommodate the many brides-to-be and bridal parties planning their ‘Big Day’ with the expert guidance of what was the highest ever number of exhibitors - 35 - showcasing their wedding services and products.

The Sefton Group’s marketing manager Nicola Wilkinson said: ‘Once again the Sefton Hotel has proved to be the Island’s ultimate wedding fair destination. The Sefton Group’s marketing team took part and were able to witness first-hand not only the large number of visitors clearly finding the fair highly informative but also to hear so many positive comments from exhibitors who found the experience so productive.’

Among the exhibitors was photographer Andrew Barton who said: ‘I always choose to exhibit at The Sefton’s wedding fair because I know the time and effort taken by me and the team to set up and man the stand is more than amply rewarded by the level of enquiries and opportunity to convert that interest into new business. The setting and organisation are ideal and, from experience, I have found The Sefton wedding fair an extremely worthwhile way for a wedding services business to raise its profile.’
