High gas prices 'part of Island life'

Chief Minister responds to BBC investigation

The Chief Minister says we're simply paying the price of living on an Island when it comes to gas prices.

A feature on BBC Radio 4's 'You and Yours' programme revealed people living in the Isle of Man are paying more than double the price for gas than UK residents.

The programme said we pay more because of the cost of transporting gas to the Isle of Man as well as the smaller population.
