by isleofman.com 23rd February 2016
The House of Keys sits today Tuesday, 23rd February, with a busy agenda.

There are 12 questions for oral answer and a further 6 for a written reply covering a variety of local topics.

Onchan Member, Peter Karran, is to ask questions concerning the redevelopment of the old flying club building at Derbyhaven.

He also wants to know if there are plans to lower electricity prices to reflect the drop in oil and gas prices which are used to fuel the generating station.

Other matters on the agenda include whether there is to be any disciplinary action following the recent report into the dredging of Peel Harbour, the numbers of petitions of doleance taken out against the IOM Government in relation to planning, digital inclusion, protected building status of the Castle Mona, Lorne House and the Nunnery and the numbers of cases of equine strangles.
