Building would be registered if in danger of demolition

The Nunnery buildings are in a very poor state of repair.

So says Environment Minister Richard Ronan.

He was speaking in the House of Keys this morning in response to a question from West Douglas MHK Chris Thomas regarding the Protected Buildings Register Status of the Nunnery Mansion.

Mr Ronan said whilst the building wasn't currently registered it WOULD be if there was any suggestion of it being demolished.
