GPs at latest education session this afternoon

by isleofman.com 24th February 2016

Locums will attend to urgent appointments

GPs around the Island won't be available for routine appointments this afternoon (Wed 24th)

They're attending the latest of their quarterly education sessions at which they can discuss developments in medical care and best practice for the Island.

However, services will continue and anyone who needs to see a doctor urgently should ring their GP Practice as normal.

Locum GPs based at practices in Douglas, Peel and the South will attend to urgent appointments and visits across the Island, whilst practices will remain open for patients to visit the practice nurse, collect test results and order repeat prescriptions.
