Saturday morning event for Beach Buddies

by isleofman.com 25th February 2016
For a change, Beach Buddies is switching its regular weekend event to a Saturday morning, with volunteers meeting at the roadside entrance to Bradda Glen for what is planned to be a double-headed beach cleaning event.

The weather forecast is for dry conditions as the volunteers return to two regular marine litter hotspots - Spaldrick Beach and Fleshwick.

Volunteers are asked to meet at 10.30am when equipment will be distributed. New volunteers are always welcome and will be given a safety talk beforehand. All materials collected with by recycled where possible by Beach Buddies.

For regular updates on events go to the charity’s Facebook page “Beach Buddies Isle of Man”.
