Island's Ambulance service to feature on BBC One

by isleofman.com 26th February 2016
The Island's Ambulance Service is to feature on the BBC One's Countryside 999 series over a period of 3 weeks from next Monday, 29th February.

The program broadcasts each weekday at 11am and follows rural emergency services as they go about their work.

Filming took place on the Island during August and September last year, following the Island’s paramedics and ambulance technicians.

Minister for Health and Social Care, Howard Quayle MHK, said: “This is a rare opportunity for residents to see just some of the incredible work our dedicated health service professionals do each and every day. It will help raise awareness of the Island across the UK and the unique challenges we face as an Island community.”
