10cc live on the Isle of Man

by isleofman.com 26th February 2016
Legendary pop icons 10cc will return to the Isle of Man to play a very special ‘tinyCOW presents’ gig at the Villa Marina on Friday 15 April.

Few acts can claim to have been as inventive and influential as 10cc and to have achieved commercial, critical and creative success in equal measure.

Having played their first ever gig on the island in 1973, the band return for the first time having since sold in excess of 30 million albums worldwide, spawning massive hits such as ‘Donna’, ‘I’m not in love’, ‘Dreadlock Holiday’, Bloody Tourists’ and ‘Things We Do For Love’.

Vocalist and bass player Graham Gouldman spoke of that first ever gig, recalling that they were taken aback by the Isle of Man response: “We went on stage and girls started screaming! It was like, what is going on? We imagined ourselves as professors of pop who were going to give a lecture on pop music but it wasn’t like that at all.”

tinyCOW’s Lee O’Hanlon said: “We’re delighted to bring an act with the outstanding pedigree of 10cc to the island for a very special ‘tinyCOW presents’ show.”
