Meet the Consultant gathering taking place

There's a chance to meet a Noble's Hospital consultant in person on Monday, at an open forum.

Colorectal surgeon Giovanni Tebala is guest speaker at this month's Meet the Consultant event, organised by the Cancer Services User Forum.

Mr Tebala and his team are due to move into a £1.9 million new purpose-built endoscopy unit at the hospital in the summer.

Expanded facilities will meet current UK clinical standards, and help tackle the growing number of referrals from GPs and the bowel screening programme.

The meeting at Douglas golf club starts at 7.30pm, is free and open to all.

It will follow the usual format, starting with a talk by Mr Tebala and followed by a question and answer session.
