Dementia conference highlights 'diagnosis pathway'

Event addresses where to go for help

A conference in Douglas today (Tuesday) has highlighted the 'diagnosis pathway' as an important part of dealing with dementia.

The Manx Alzhiemer's Society is hosting the event at the Villa Marina throughout the day.

Various speakers are addressing different aspects of dealing with the disease on the Island, and where to go for help.

Dr Chris Jagus is a consultant in old age psychiatry with the mental health service.

He told Manx Radio what services the Island currently offers:
