Claire Wells currently in Murrays Ward

A Councillor in Murrays Douglas has declared her intention to stand in Hills Ward in next month's local authority elections.

Lib Van member Claire Wells says it is where she lives and the ward she feels best able to represent.

She has represented Murrays ward since last September after a seat unexpectedly became vacant.

Ms Wells says she believes she has the right skills for the job and will use common sense to help find simple and effective solutions to some of the challenges being faced.

The Local Authority Elections will take place on Thursday 28th April
