Controlled detonation carried out on WW2 bomb

A controlled detonation of the World War 2 ordnance found yesterday during construction work on Ramsey's Mooragh Promenade has been carried out.

The operation went without incident and the roads and pathways around the area are now open again.

The Police thanked the public for their patience and understanding.
