Port Soderick can rise again says ferry owner

Hopes site can be rejuvenated

A local ferry owner, who occasionally uses Port Soderick as a stopping off point for the MV Karina, says he's optimistic that the new owners can and will rejuvenate the site.

Captain Stephen Carter started his career ferrying people from Douglas to Port Soderick and has written a book on the boats that used to ply their trade along the east coast of the Island.

He says that Douglas Council was responsible for putting up the buildings that are there now
