Easter Bunny spotted in Laxey Glen!

by isleofman.com 3rd March 2016
This Easter, The Children’s Centre are encouraging families to get out and explore the beautiful Laxey Glen Gardens as part of their ‘BIG Easter Egg Hunt’ Event. The historic Glen Gardens will play host to a family fun day in aid of the well-known Manx charity. They are calling for children from across the island to help find hundreds of eggs that have been carefully hidden in the glen and bring them to the Pavilion in exchange for a reward. Manager of Laxey Pavilion, Laura Gill, explains: “We’re very lucky to have secured a personal appearance from the Easter bunny himself and he’ll be handing out Easter treats to everyone who helps find his eggs. Of course, there will also be a few surprises hidden along the way – so keep your eyes peeled for some very special golden eggs!”

This event is being run in conjunction with The Children’s Centre’s ‘forest school’ team - and in the true spirit of adventure, it will go ahead no matter what the weather, so wrap up warm and bring your wellies in case of rain. We'll also have plenty of fun and games, Easter crafts and facepainting and ‘Noa In The Glen’ will be serving delicious coffee, cakes and lunches. A fun day out for all the family!

Easter Saturday, 26th March 2016, 11.30am - 3pm.

Tickets are ?3 and are available from The Children's Centre (Woodbourne Road) or from Noa Bakehouse at Laxey Pavilion, alternatively just come along on the day!

All proceeds from this event go towards our charitable projects and we are very grateful to Tesco Douglas for their support of this event. Tickets include egg hunt, easter crafts, games and facepainting, meet the easter bunny and a chocolate egg for all entrants.
