Appeal after BMW damaged in Laxey

Police are investigating an offence of criminal damage to a black BMW motor car that was parked on Laxey Promenade on Wednesday 3rd March 2016. The vehicle was parked on the far side of the promenade, close to the toilets, when the damage occurred.

The vehicle had been left by the owner for a short period of time, between 1pm and 2pm on Wednesday. When the owner returned they noticed scratching to the side and boot of the car.

A police spokesman said: “Damage such as this causes significant upset and financial loss to the owner, if you were in the area and saw the damage being caused please contact PC Diamond at Ramsey police station on 812234 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
