Horse ploughing championships this morning

All welcome at Ballaspit

The Isle of Man Horse Ploughing Match Championships take place this morning (Sat 5th)

There are also classes for tractors.

The event takes place at Ballaspit on the Patrick Road outside Peel.

It gets underway at 10.30am and runs through until 3.15 this afternoon.

All are welcome to attend and see some of the Island's best ploughmen and women working with heavy horses in the traditional way.

A prize presentation will take place next Thursday (10th) March at the Tynwald Inn in St Johns.
