There's dialect at yer!

by isleofman.com 5th March 2016

Meeting tonight at St Johns

If you're a fan of the Manx dialect there's a chance to meet like-minded souls this evening (Sat 5th)

A gathering is being held at the Tynwald Inn, St Johns for anyone who'd like to go along and swap words and stories.

It's been organised by Ned Kennaugh and John "Dog" Callister.

John says anyone thinking of coming along should write down any old dialect words they may know, as they would like to ensure the old words and phrases aren't lost forever

The meeting is at 7.30 for 8am at the Tynwald Inn.
