Application to build more than 80 homes in Ramsey

People want to live in the town says Clerk

A planning application to build more than 80 homes in the north of the Island has not come as a surprise, according to Ramsey Town Commissioners.

The area of land at The Vollan was subject to a previous application back in 2011.

Town Clerk Peter Whiteway believes this request will get the go-ahead.

He says there's a clear indication people want to live in the town:
