'Tesco tax' has raised more than ?1.5 million, says minister

Treasury Minister Eddie Teare says a special tax on large chain retailers raised just over one and a half million pounds last year.

This morning in the House of Keys he faced questions on the issue from West Douglas MHK Chris Thomas.

Mr Thomas wanted to know if he thought the so-called Tesco tax had made a real contribution to the Isle of Man.
